Hey lovelies, welcome back again! Today I will show you how to easily make a pencil skirt using some left over fabrics, since I am cleaning out my stash of fabrics I thought this is a great way to use them.
In this sewing tutorial I will also show you how to make a waistband with elastic but doesn't require any gathers. Similar waistband to what you will see in a store bought skirts, shorts and even tights.
This was actually a requested video. I know it took so long for me to upload it but I believe this was the perfect time.
Hey my loves today I will show you how I organize my threads and sewing notions. I recently got a couple of storage containers from Bins and Things and I am really excited to share them with you. If you are like me who loves tidy and clutter free work space then this video might just be helpful to you. I personally love to work in a tidy area whenever I am working on a sewing project. Messy room just doesn't doesn't spark that creativeness in me so I have to keep my sewing room today all the time. Honestly I am not super orangized person. I like to hide my clutter and what not in decorative baskets and boxes. If I can't see it, it is fine with me but really when I needed to use something it is very hard to find them. I am constantly struggling with that, just ask my husband! Anyway this video means to inspire you and help you organized what ever it is in your space that need to be under control.

Hello my loves, today I will show you how to make a three tiered ruffle skirt. This was a requested sewing project by one of my awesome viewers, so here it is. I forgot to mention I used a vintage cotton fabric for this skirt that I bought at the thrift store a few years ago. If you are going to re- create this sewing project for big girls or for adults the process is the same obviously you will need more fabrics than I used. Just remember the longer the strips of fabrics the more voluminous the ruffles are going to be. Use your own judgement because ruffles can make you look bigger than you truly are. This type of skirt is perfect for people that has more of a straight shape.

Hello my dear reader, it seems like there is a theme going on my blog all about hemming. Today I will show you how to quickly hem a shirt sleeves or in this case hem a silky bathrobe that I found at the thrift store. This bathrobe was very long so I decided to shorten it to fit me. This is why I love sewing so much because I get to make the garment fit me not the other way around. This tutorial is so simple anyone can do it, even without a sewing machine you can easily hand stitch the hem which I have done before when I did not have a sewing machine.
